I was introduced early to acupuncture and East Asian medicine. These therapies are routinely integrated into daily care. This early exposure shaped my long-standing interest in evidence-informed, non-pharmacologic approaches and their role alongside conventional medical practice in the United States. I earned a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University in Los Angeles, one of the nation’s established institutions for acupuncture education and clinical training. I have been a licensed massage therapist for over 20 years, having trained at the Moscow School of Massage in Idaho. I also studied at the California College of Ayurveda, where I became a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Panchakarma Practitioner, with additional training in cleansing, detoxification, and spa therapies. My education also includes advanced yoga teacher training through the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco. And I currently practice meridian-based acu-yoga as well as paddleboard yoga. I graduated from acupuncture school in 2022 with a clear vision: to create a practice where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal, recover, and maintain wellness across all stages of life. From the outset, my goal has been to provide ethical, consistent, and patient-centered acupuncture care focused on addressing root patterns of imbalance rather than isolated symptoms. My work emphasizes structured clinical systems, quality care, and long-term patient outcomes, while also prioritizing education, collaboration, and integration with the broader healthcare community to support sustainable care models. In addition to acupuncture, my clinical background includes over 20 years of experience in bodywork within medical clinic settings, including medical massage therapy. Some of my areas of focus include pain management, women’s health, digestive disorders, and preventive care. I work collaboratively with physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare providers to support coordinated, multidisciplinary care built on trust and communication. I believe meaningful healing occurs when patient experience and clinical intention are aligned. When patients feel understood and supported, and when clinicians remain grounded, ethical, and collaborative, the conditions for true healing become possible. This philosophy continues to guide the growth, culture, and purpose of my acupuncture practice. Outside the clinic, I enjoy traveling, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, camping, backpacking, hiking with my dog, snowboarding, kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking, cycling, playing ukulele and guitar, and creating art.
